About Us
Princeville "Patriots" are a team who play English Billiards in the Pudsey Billiards League. The Patriots are one of four Billiards teams from the Princeville Methodists Institute, who are based in Horton Bank Top, Bradford.
The "Patriots" moniker is not officially endorsed by the club or league, but merely used in light hearted humour. This
is in recognition to an unprecedented start made by Princeville "A", undefeated in the first half of this season and currently top of the league.
Certain team players feel that a sport from a bygone era is in need of jazzing up, hence coming up with a nickname. Anohther idea suggested is playing Billiards in fancy dress at the last game of the season and walk-in girls from a certain Fish and Chip Shop who shall remain anonymous.
